Greg has been extremely musical since the tender age of 6, working his way through Keyboard, Clarinet and Saxophone before finding his real love, the drums. He took up drums at the age of 11 and has never looked back.

Greg performed with many of the local youth bands, as well as all of the school/college ensembles. At the age of 15 he was regularly gigging with local adult wind bands "Meridian Winds" and "Thornden Community Wind Band", playing often with "HM Band of the Royal Marines" and "The Band of the Rifles".

Before going to University, Greg worked as a Music Technician at Barton Peveril College, in charge of all the Studios in the college, gaining his experience in Music Technology.

Greg is a member of the Vic Firth Education team, and now exclusively uses their products. For more information on lessons, please see the TUITION page.

In his spare time Greg is Principal percussionist with the Band of the Hampshire Constabulary and also plays regularly with Thornden Community Wind Band, the Merlin Sax Quartet, The Diplomats Jazz Quartet and many function bands. He is also a Beaver Scout Leader in two local Scout Groups.

Since 2008, Greg has also been Director of Music of the 14th Eastleigh Scout and Guide Band, "The Spitfires".
